Dear Readers and Fans,
Words can not express how much each comment, favorite and view has meant to me over the years, more like a decade. It's time for me to retire from "blogging". I've had many ups and downs throughout the year and I can't describe how I've felt with each moment. I still remember when I first reached 100 favorites. I still remember when I got rejected from a certain event when my cat passed away.
I've held grudges on people I'd never meet and I'm human so I still do! (lol) Second Life has been a mixed adventure. How I can describe my Second Life experience would be a 4 out of 10. I've met my Second Life family, I've spoken to people across the globe! The bad out weights the good. I've met amazing content designers that's given me boost of encouragement.I've had not only content designers, but blog managers critique my work and given my pointers and opinions! Second Life is how YOU make it out to be, but we're all affected by others. Second Life isn't what it use to be decades ago. Now it's nothing about events and who can get to the top, who is the most popular, she/he did this and copied me, it's a bunch of negative that wasn't there decade ago. So it's time for me to move on from the things in Second Life that's causing me to just not like it anymore.
I've stressed over deadlines, trying to come up with a concept on photos for events, being overlooked, back-stabbed, gossiped about, ban from events because I spoke my mind; the lists goes on. In the past couple of years I've experienced heartache like no other. I wish I wouldn't experienced what I did, but it's a part of life; everyone one of us will go through it sooner or later. In the past couple of years I lost 4 members of my family back to back. A months and weeks apart from each other; including my late husband. Going through all of these emotions did something to my life. The joy of it is gone.
I have a lot of sadness, depression, and negativity regarding life in general. I'm so numb to everything and the joy I wish I had vanished and just won't return. I even harmed myself during all of this. I realized when I was on the brink, I've had my friends call not only my phone but my parents. I realized I was still loved. My Second Life family has became my actual family that I never will have nor had.
Atlas, now! The other reason I am quitting, no I'm not quitting Second Life. I still have management duties and I love to make my shapes as a hobby. So whenever I feel the itch or need, I'll probably take a photo here or there. So, moving forward! I found a new passion that ignited my love to draw again! With the encouragement from friends and family I am going to bring my art to life and create my stickers! I love stickers and can't get enough of them! I have goals in mind and achievements I want to accomplish and being on Second Life and stressed out over deadlines and so forth. I have a plan mapped out and I've already came up with my brand name and stickers I'm already working on!
So please don't be disappointed nor upset! Everyone leaves Second Life sometimes! So yearly next year I'll do a few more of my events and I'm stopping officially. End of January or February I'll be completely stopped.
Thank you so much of the 15 years I've been on the grid! I'll still be here but Second Life just isn't cutting it for me. I wish my readers, fans, and everyone else have a Great Second Life experience!
